Overview
HeadsetToggle is a simple utility app that controls audio routing on Android devices. The app itself does not collect personal data, but uses third-party advertising services for advertisements, which may collect data as described below.

Data Collected by Third-Party Advertising Services
The app uses third-party advertising SDKs to display banner advertisements. These advertising networks may collect the following data:
Device or Other IDs
- ✅ Advertising ID: Android Advertising ID (AAID)
- ✅ Device ID: Device identifiers for advertising purposes
- Purpose: Ad personalization and measurement
- Collection: Automatically by advertising SDKs
- Sharing: Shared with advertising partners
Location
- ✅ Approximate location: General location (city/region level)
- Purpose: Ad targeting and measurement
- Collection: If available and permitted by user
- Sharing: Shared with advertising partners
App Activity
- ✅ App interactions: Interactions with advertisements
- ✅ Other app activity: App usage data for ad measurement
- Purpose: Ad performance measurement
- Collection: Automatically by advertising SDKs

App Info and Performance

Data NOT Collected by the App
The app itself does NOT collect:

- ❌ Sensitive personal information
Data Sharing
Data collected by advertising SDKs may be shared with:
- Advertising partners: For ad delivery and measurement
- Analytics providers: For ad performance analysis
- Advertising network services: As part of their advertising ecosystem
We do not directly share any data. All data sharing is handled by the respective advertising networks as per their privacy policies. The advertising networks we use may include, but are not limited to, InMobi, Google AdMob, AppLovin, and other advertising partners.
Local Data
The app stores the following data locally on the device:
- SharedPreferences: Stores toggle state (ON/OFF) and premium purchase status
- Data type: Boolean (true/false)
- Purpose: Store user preferences
- Location: Device only, never transmitted
- Deletion: Automatically deleted when app is uninstalled
Data Security
Data collected by advertising networks is secured by their respective infrastructure. Local data stored on the device is protected by Android's security system. We do not transmit any personal data over the network except through advertising SDKs (which is handled by the respective advertising networks).
Data Encryption
Data transmitted by advertising SDKs is encrypted in transit. Local data stored in SharedPreferences is not encrypted (as it contains only non-sensitive boolean values).
Data Deletion
Users can delete locally stored data by:
- Uninstalling the app (removes all local data)
- Clearing app data through Android settings
For data collected by advertising networks, users can:
- Reset Advertising ID through Android settings
- Opt out of personalized ads through Android settings
- Contact the respective advertising networks regarding advertising data (see their privacy policies)
Permissions
The app does NOT require any special permissions in AndroidManifest.xml. Third-party advertising SDKs may request certain permissions automatically for ad functionality, which are handled by the respective SDKs. Users can control ad-related permissions through Android settings.
