Introduction

HeadsetToggle ("the app", "we", "our") is an Android application designed to help users control audio routing between external speaker and headset/earphones on their Android devices. The app is provided free of charge and includes an optional in-app purchase to remove ads.

Information Collection and Use

Data Not Collected by the App

HeadsetToggle does NOT collect, store, or share any personal data directly, including:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, address)
• Geographic location data
• Device information (IMEI, serial number, etc.)
• Usage data or analytics (collected by us)
• Data from camera, microphone, or other sensors
• Contacts, messages, or other personal data

Data Collected by Third-Party Advertising Services

The app uses third-party advertising services to display advertisements. These advertising networks may collect the following types of data (as per their respective privacy policies):

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers
• Advertising ID: Android Advertising ID (AAID) or similar identifiers
• Location Data: Approximate location (if available and permitted)
• App Information: App usage data, interaction with ads
• Network Information: IP address, network type
• Demographic Data: Age, gender, interests (if available)

This data is collected by third-party advertising networks and is subject to their respective privacy policies. We do not have direct access to this data. The advertising networks we use may include, but are not limited to, InMobi, Google AdMob, AppLovin, and other advertising partners. Data Processed Locally

The app only processes data locally on the user's device:

• SharedPreferences: The app stores user settings (toggle state, premium purchase status) locally on the device using Android SharedPreferences. This data is never transmitted outside the device.
• Audio Routing: The app only controls audio routing on the user's device through Android AudioSystem API. No audio data is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
• Purchase Information: Premium purchase status is stored locally. Purchase verification is done through Google Play Billing Library.

Data Sharing

HeadsetToggle shares data in the following ways:

• Third-Party Advertising Networks: Advertising SDKs may share collected data with their advertising partners and networks as per their respective privacy policies
• Google Play Billing: Purchase information is processed by Google Play (subject to Google's privacy policy)
• No other sharing: We do not share data with analytics providers, cloud services, or other third parties beyond what is necessary for advertising functionality

Permissions

The app does NOT require any special permissions in AndroidManifest.xml. The app only uses default Android permissions to control audio routing, which do not need to be declared in the manifest. Third-party advertising SDKs may request certain permissions for ad functionality (such as network access, location, etc.), which are handled automatically by the respective SDKs.

Data Security

All data stored locally on the device is protected by Android's security system. Third-party advertising networks' data collection and transmission is secured by their respective infrastructure. We do not transmit any personal data over the network except through advertising SDKs (which is handled by the respective advertising networks).

Children's Privacy

This app is suitable for all ages. Third-party advertising networks may collect data from users of all ages as per their respective policies. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction) beyond what advertising networks collect. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be notified by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed of any changes.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Opt out of personalized ads through Android settings
• Reset your Advertising ID through Android settings
• Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data
• Request information about data collected by advertising networks (contact the respective advertising networks via their privacy portals)
